Now that you have an action plan, you want to (1) put it in action and (2) reflect on the progress. You want to do that in three different ways: daily, weekly, and monthly. If the learning project lasts for more than a month, you should also reflect on it at the end of the project.

Daily

Answer all these questions:

  1. What was your planned result?

  2. What were the actual results?

  3. What resources have you used? Were they helpful? How helpful?

  4. How much time did you spend on your study or practice?

  5. How would you objectively rate your performance based on the ways

you decided to measure your progress?

  6. Do you have notes to add?

Weekly

The weekly review is more about the big picture. Ask yourself these 3 questions:

  1. What went right?
  2. What went wrong?
  3. How can I improve?

For each question, answer with a clear and precise list.

Monthly

The monthly review is on an even higher level. Ask yourself these 3 questions:

  1. What lessons have I learned?
  2. How would I go differently next time?
  3. What are the next steps?
